Character—Reflecting Christ in Daily Life
True Christianity is not about outward appearances or religious symbols; it’s about a transformed character. Some may wear “WWJD” bracelets or teach Bible classes, yet live double lives. Jesus calls us to genuine faith, where our actions and attitudes reflect His character. The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—should be evident in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). When we walk in the Spirit, our character becomes a living testimony of Christ’s work in us, even if others don’t understand or agree.
Bible Verses:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
