The Re-Born Identity: A Reflection of Christ

Story

In my previous post, I shared how accepting Christ Jesus as our Personal Savior and Bridegroom leads to a Re-Born Identity through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This identity is more than a label; it is a transformation that reflects our commitment to Christ and prepares us for Earth’s Final Royal Wedding. However, this journey is not without challenges. The Bible reminds us that “we all sin and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Our natural, carnal selves often resist the Divine Authority, creating a daily battle between the flesh and the Spirit.

Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:31, “I die daily,” resonate deeply with this struggle. Dying daily means surrendering our old selves to Christ moment by moment, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us into righteousness. It is through this process that we remain alive in Christ and dead to the world, preparing ourselves for the ultimate celebration—the Final Royal Wedding.

Memory Verse

“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.” - Romans 8:10

Reflection

The Re-Born Identity is not a one-time event; it’s a continuous process of dying to sin and living in Christ. Each day presents an opportunity to reflect His light in our lives. This identity serves as both a testimony to others and an invitation to join His eternal celebration.

Relevant Today

In a world filled with temptation and distractions, maintaining a Re-Born Identity is more challenging than ever. Yet, it is also more impactful. By living as extensions of Christ’s light, we can inspire others to seek Him and His divine purpose for their lives.

Call to Action

Commit today to "dying daily" as Paul did—surrender your struggles, temptations, and fears to Christ. Let His Spirit transform you into a beacon of light that invites others into His grace and prepares you for Earth’s Final Royal Wedding.
