⚠️ Wholeness and Hope
Merry Christmas!
This season, as we reflect on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, let us also take a moment to consider what it truly means to be whole.
For many years, I didn’t fully understand this. As a child and even into my teenage years, I believed that other people—friends, family, or even a spouse—were what made me complete. Later, when I became a parent, I thought my children completed me. But over time, I realized that this was far from the truth.
You see, while our loved ones are a beautiful part of our lives, they are not the source of our wholeness.
Our children, spouses, and friends are gifts from God, but they too are on their own journeys to becoming whole through the only true source: Jesus Christ.
After all, He is the One who created us and loves us unconditionally.
During our lives, we will face trials and tribulations—moments that threaten to break us. These hardships are often orchestrated by the enemy, Satan, who seeks to steal our joy and destroy our sense of worth.
If you’ve experienced abuse, neglect, rejection, or pain in any form, you may have been led to believe that you are unworthy or unlovable. But these are lies from the enemy.
The truth is this: over 2,000 years ago, someone died for you on the Cross because you are deeply loved and valued beyond measure. Jesus Christ gave His life so that you might live in freedom and abundance. He came into this world not just to save us but to make us whole again—to restore everything that has been broken in us.
This Christmas season is a reminder of that incredible gift. Jesus said in John 10:10:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Through Him, we can find healing for our wounds and freedom from the chains that have held us back.
Wholeness is living life as God intended—a life filled with His peace, joy, and purpose.
No matter what you’ve been through or what mistakes you’ve made, the Lord is waiting with open arms to restore your heart, mind, and soul.
The Holy Spirit will guide you into a deeper understanding of God’s love for you—a love so great that it surpasses anything we can imagine.
This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Christ—the One who came to save us—ask yourself:
- Are you ready for a change?
- Are you ready to let Him make you whole?
May this season bring you closer to the One who completes us all.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with hope, healing, and abundant joy in Christ!
With love and blessings,
Chaplain Viv
