The Fate of the Wicked: A Candle Snuffed Out
In Proverbs 24:20, we read:
"For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out."
This verse serves as a sobering reminder of life without God. Rejecting Him leaves us wandering without direction, peace, or security.
Achievements and material possessions cannot fill the emptiness in a soul separated from its Creator. King Solomon’s comparison of this fate to a candle being snuffed out emphasizes the importance of choosing light over darkness.
As we enter this new year, let us not ignore Jesus' call, the Light of the World. If He is knocking on your heart's door, don’t reject Him.
It’s not too late to let Him in and allow His light to transform your life.
