Don’t Fret and Don’t Envy When Others Seem to Win
It’s tempting to become anxious or envious when those who have hurt us appear to succeed. David wrote, “Do not fret because of evildoers... nor be envious” (Psalm 37:1). God is just and sees every wrong done. Saul reigned, but God’s favor remained with David. Stay faithful, keep your heart from bitterness, and trust God’s timing and justice over your own plans for vindication.
Bible Verses:
“Do not fret because of evildoers...” (Psalm 37:1)
“Fret not yourself over one who prospers...refrain from anger and forsake wrath!” (Psalm 37:7–8)
“The LORD is a God of justice...” (Isaiah 30:18)
Call to Action:
Release both anxiety and envy to God. Pray for a heart that rejoices in others’ blessings, even when it’s hard.
3 Things to Remember:
God sees behind every closed door.
Bitterness poisons, but trust heals.
Justice belongs to God, not us.
