Don’t Be Bait for Drama Protect Your Peace
Spiders use captured fireflies to draw more prey with their glow; similarly, some “so-called Christians” may use your reputation or charisma to attract attention or build their own platform—sometimes dragging you into drama, gossip, or unhealthy expectations. Jesus warned, “Do not cast your pearls before swine” (Matthew 7:6). Protect your peace; don’t allow others to exploit your goodness for their own chaos.
Bible Verses:
“Do not cast your pearls before swine.” (Matthew 7:6)
“Seek peace and pursue it.” (Psalm 34:14)
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” (Romans 14:19)
Call to Action:
Guard your time and energy. Step back from situations or relationships that use your gifts or drama for others’ benefit, and choose peace.
3 Things to Remember:
Your light is for God’s glory, not anyone’s agenda.
Protecting peace is an act of wisdom.
Not all attention is affirmation.
