Loneliness can come even in a crowd. Elijah felt utterly alone, but God assured him of His presence (1 Kings 19:10,18). Psalm 68:6 declares, “God sets the lonely in families.” Jesus promises, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). Whatever your social circle, God’s nearness is guaranteed, and He may surprise you with community when you least expect it.
