Focus: Boxing With My Shadows Day 22 | August 26
The shadow of rejection can linger, affecting how we see ourselves and others. Jesus Himself was “despised and rejected by men” (Isaiah 53:3), yet He continued to love and reach out. God promises, “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me” (Psalm 27:10). Paul reminds us that in Christ we are fully accepted (Ephesians 1:6). When you rest in God’s acceptance, rejection loses its sting and healing begins.
Bible Verses:
“He was despised and rejected by men.” (Isaiah 53:3)
“Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” (Psalm 27:10)
“He has made us accepted in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6)
Call to Action:
Pray about a past rejection that still causes pain. Picture Jesus embracing you and affirming your acceptance in Him.
3 Things to Remember:
Even Jesus experienced rejection.
God receives you always.
Your worth is rooted in Christ's acceptance.
