Envy and comparison cast long shadows, trapping us in self-doubt and bitterness. James writes: “For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.” (James 3:16) God’s grace is enough for each of us: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) Instead of comparison, embrace gratitude and celebrate others. Let contentment replace envy’s shadow.
