Focus: Emotionally Triage Series Day 7: Inviting the Holy Spirit

Day 7: Inviting the Holy Spirit

You do not have to triage your emotions alone. The Holy Spirit is your Comforter, Counselor, and Guide, empowering you to process emotions, make wise decisions, and grow in spiritual maturity. God’s Spirit is always present, ready to help you discern truth from lies, peace from chaos, and wisdom from confusion. Emotional triage becomes transformative when you invite the Holy Spirit into every step—asking for guidance, strength, and understanding. The Spirit intercedes for you when words fail and reminds you of God’s promises when you feel weak. He brings conviction without condemnation, leading you gently toward healing and growth. The more you rely on the Holy Spirit, the more you experience His fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Emotional triage is most effective when it is Spirit-led, allowing God to work in you and through you, even in your most vulnerable moments.

Bible Verses:

· “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit…will teach you all things.” (John 14:26)

· “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.” (John 14:16)

· “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25)

Call to Action:
Begin your day by inviting the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Ask Him to reveal areas where you need healing or growth. Throughout the day, pause and listen for His gentle promptings. Trust that He is with you in every moment.
