Focus: Emotional Triage Series Day 21: The Reward of Faith—Hope for the Future

Faith always looks forward. When we trust God with our present, we can hope confidently in His promises for our future. The heroes of Hebrews 11 looked beyond their circumstances, anticipating a better country and greater reward. The Proverbs 31 woman is praised for her faithful labor that ripples into eternity. Romans assures us that our present struggles are temporary compared to the coming glory God has promised. Anchoring our hope in Him gives us strength to press on, even in difficult seasons.

Bible Verses:

  • “They were longing for a better country—a heavenly one.” (Hebrews 11:16)

  • “Her works bring her praise at the city gate.” (Proverbs 31:31)

  • “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)

Call to Action:
Reflect on God’s promises. Write down one hope you have for the future and commit it to prayer, trusting that God is faithful to fulfill what He has begun.

3 Things to Remember:

  • Faith is forward-looking.

  • God’s promises are reliable.

  • Future glory puts present suffering in perspective.
