Focus: Emotional Triage Series Day 27: The Hope of Glory—Fixing Our Eyes on Christ

Hope is vital for endurance and joy, especially as we move into a new month. Ephesians 6 equips us for battle, but our victory is found in hoping in Christ’s finished work. The Proverbs 31 woman is praised for her steadfast heart and trust in God, not her outward accomplishments. Hebrews 11’s heroes endured difficulties by looking ahead to God’s promise. Romans reminds us that hope in God will never disappoint. As we anchor our lives in Christ, we can anticipate the future with unwavering confidence, letting hope fuel our journey, no matter what comes.

Bible Verses:

  • “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

  • “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)

  • “Hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts.” (Romans 5:5)

Call to Action:
Focus your heart on Christ’s promises. When discouragement comes, remind yourself that your hope is anchored in His truth, not circumstances.

3 Things to Remember:

  • Hope keeps you anchored through storms.

  • God’s love is your assurance.

  • Fix your eyes on Christ alone
