The Origin of Strongholds: From Heaven to Earth

 

Strongholds began with Lucifer, who allowed pride and jealousy to rule his heart (Isaiah 14:12-14). When he was cast out (Revelation 12:7-9), he brought his destructive influence to earth. Eve’s doubt in God’s authority was the first human stronghold (Genesis 3). Since then, we’ve all faced battles in our hearts and minds. But the good news is that Christ has overcome the world. He breaks every chain, offering us hope and healing. Understanding the origin of strongholds helps us recognize and resist them in our own lives.
