The Holy Spirit—Our Source of Encouragement
When discouragement overwhelms us, the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Encourager. After my mission trip, I struggled to find motivation, but as I sought God in prayer and worship, the Holy Spirit began to renew my strength. Elijah, too, was comforted by God’s presence when he was discouraged and afraid. The Holy Spirit empowers us to overcome negative emotions and reminds us of God’s faithfulness.
Bible Verses:
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things…” (John 14:26)
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit…?” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
Call to Action:
Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you with hope and encouragement, especially in difficult times.
Things To Remember:
The Holy Spirit is your Comforter.
God’s presence brings freedom from discouragement.
You are never alone—God is with you.
