The Heart: Where Strongholds Begin

 

Strongholds often start in the heart. The heart is where we process love, pain, and loss—but it’s also where negative beliefs can take root. Lucifer’s downfall began in his heart, desiring to be like God (Isaiah 14:12-14). When we experience abuse or trauma, our hearts can build walls, sometimes shutting out hope or even God. But Christ offers healing—He breaks down strongholds and restores our hearts. The battle against strongholds is not only about the mind but about what we allow into our hearts.
