The Fruit of Strongholds
Our character is shaped by the strongholds we allow to grow. Lucifer’s jealousy led to bitterness and rebellion (Isaiah 14:12-14). When we harbor pain, it can warp our character—leading to anger, fear, or shame. But God’s desire is to build godly character in us. As we surrender our hurts to Christ, He replaces destructive patterns with love, joy, and peace. The process is not easy, but it is possible. Christ breaks the chains of negative strongholds, helping us to become more like Him.
Bible Verses:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…” (Galatians 5:22)
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds…” (James 1:2)
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)
