Living as Children of Light—Displaying the Fruit of the Spirit
A re-born identity in Christ is not just a belief, but a way of life. We are called to walk as children of light, displaying the fruit of the Spirit in every area. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are not optional—they are the evidence of Christ’s life in us (Galatians 5:22-23). As we grow in Him, these qualities become more evident, drawing others to the light of Christ. Let us strive to live out our faith daily, shining brightly in a world that desperately needs hope.
Bible Verses:
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” (Ephesians 5:8)
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
