I once prayed to God for just two avocados. The answer came as “no”—but weeks later, a friend sent me a box of forty. Not only was God listening, but He exceeded my request in a way I never imagined. This is the nature of His promises: “…how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13).
