The Journey of True Conversion - A Re-Born Identity in Christ
The Journey of True Conversion - A Re-Born Identity in Christ
Theme- Exploring the transformative power of true conversion and developing a "Re-Born Identity" in Christ.
Story - On July 19, 2005, I experienced a profound realization about the nature of true conversion. It's not about superficial changes or mimicking others' behaviors; it's about allowing God to fundamentally change who you are from the inside out.
My journey back to God was marked by a deep understanding that only He could truly change my life and thought processes. This wasn't a quick fix or a surface-level adjustment. It was a gradual, sometimes imperceptible transformation guided by the Holy Spirit.
The beauty of this change was that I often didn't even notice it happening. It was others who pointed out the differences they saw in me. I found myself better able to control my temper and forgive others without seeking revenge - things that had been significant struggles in my past.
Bible Verse
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17 This verse encapsulates the essence of true conversion - becoming a new creation in Christ.
