Earth’s Final Royal Wedding – What Will You Wear?

Earth’s Final Royal Wedding – What Will You Wear?

Theme
The Bible describes Earth’s Final Royal Wedding as a magnificent event where the attire isn’t made of fabric but of righteousness. This post explores what it means to prepare for this divine celebration.

Story
As a little girl, weddings were a big deal in my family. I vividly remember how my grandmother would make it her mission to look perfect for the occasion. She would buy new shoes, a beautiful dress, and get her hair done. For us kids, it meant wearing uncomfortable taffeta dresses, shiny black shoes, ruffled socks, or white stockings, all topped off with matching ribbons and hair clips. I didn’t enjoy weddings much back then—I couldn’t see the significance of two people dressed like royalty for a day. My focus was on the cake and food!

But as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to understand that weddings symbolize more than just a celebration—they represent preparation and commitment. This understanding has deepened as I reflect on Earth’s Final Royal Wedding, described in Revelation 19:8: “It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”

Unlike earthly weddings, this royal wedding requires spiritual preparation. The attire isn’t about physical garments but about living in righteousness through Christ Jesus. It’s not about external appearances but an internal transformation brought about by accepting Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your life.

Bible Verse
“It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” - Revelation 19:8

This verse reminds us that our "wedding attire" for this event is our righteous acts—living according to God’s will and displaying the fruit of the Spirit.
