The World in Turmoil and God's Control

In these troubling times, we witness an increase in abuses, civil unrest, wars, and rumors of wars. We may feel as if we are sitting on the edge of a tree limb over a river full of alligators, to the right of the tree limb snakes and to the left roaring lions waiting for you to slip up. Everywhere you turn is chaotic.

The world seems to be in chaos, but amidst this turmoil, we must remember that our Creator is still in control.

When we gaze upon a breathtaking sunset or hold a newborn child, we're reminded of the awe-inspiring power of our Intelligent Designer. Life didn't come from nothing; it's a testament to God's grand plan.

Yet, we also see the work of the oppressor, Satan, who uses people to hurt others, breaking hearts and spirits. In these moments of grief, we must cling to the words of Jesus in John 16:33: 

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Let us find victory in knowing that despite the world's troubles, our Creator has already won the ultimate battle.
