Recognizing and Overcoming Interceptors Who Destroy The Inner Light

Identify and Overcome the Interceptors of Your Dreams

As we step into 2025, it's crucial to recognize that our dreams can be intercepted by various forces—both external and internal. Just as the friends in Mark 2:4-5 cut through a roof to bring the paralyzed man to Jesus, we too must identify what is trying to block our path.

Identifying Interceptors

1. External Interceptors: These are negative voices from friends, family, or colleagues who doubt your abilities or criticize your aspirations. They may mean well, but their skepticism can undermine your confidence.

2. Internal Interceptors: These include self-doubt, fear of failure, and procrastination. Often, we are our own worst critics, allowing negative thoughts to hold us back.

3. Circumstantial Interceptors: Financial struggles, lack of resources, or unexpected challenges can also derail our dreams.

Taking Bold Action To protect your dreams:

  • Push Past Criticism: Stay focused on your calling and surround yourself with supportive people who uplift you.
  • Be Willing to Act: Like the men in Mark 2 who did not let obstacles stop them, be prepared to take bold steps toward your goal.

As you reflect on your dreams this year, ask yourself: What interceptors do I need to confront?
