⚠️ Christmas Message of Reflection and Healing

As we continue to gather to celebrate the joy and hope of this Christmas season, I find myself reflecting on the concept of strongholds—those barriers that can hinder our spiritual growth and connection with God.

Strongholds, when examined closely, reveal deeper truths about ourselves. The term "stronghold" combines two powerful ideas: "strong," representing power and strength, and "hold," which signifies embracing or bondage. Together, they create a potent word that encapsulates the struggles many of us face.

Throughout the month of December, we will delve into the theme of spiritual strongholds and the healing journey that accompanies them.

These strongholds often arise from flawed thinking influenced by deceptive tools from Satan’s arsenal. Since his time as an Angel of Light in Heaven, Satan has wielded deception to ensnare our minds and hearts.

Strongholds are intricately constructed and serve as weapons of destruction for our souls. They can manifest through our thoughts, particularly in the context of past traumas such as childhood abuse. Such experiences can lead to feelings of shame, worthlessness, or guilt—emotions that may foster bitterness and self-hatred.

When we struggle with these feelings, we may find it difficult to embrace God’s love and grace, allowing rebellion against Him and the Holy Spirit to take root.
These strongholds can blind us to the presence of God in our lives, preventing us from experiencing His healing touch.

They distort our understanding of ourselves, overshadowing the truth that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). This is how Christ sees us when we come to Him—beautifully created and deeply loved.

As you reflect during this Christmas season—a time of hope, love, and renewal—I encourage you to consider your own strongholds. What barriers might be keeping you from fully experiencing God’s grace? This season is an invitation to open your heart to healing and transformation.

May this Christmas bring you peace, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose as you embark on your healing journey.

Remember that you are not alone; God is with you every step of the way.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas filled with love and light!
