The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 4:29, 

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." 

This verse emphasizes the transformative power of our words when used for good.

Consider the following scenarios:

Social media interactions: Instead of engaging in negative discussions or sharing potentially harmful information, use these platforms to spread positivity and encouragement.

Confidential conversations: When someone trusts you with personal information, honor that trust by keeping it confidential. Proverbs 11:13 states, 

"A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret."

Past mistakes: Rather than dwelling on someone's past, focus on their growth and potential. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, 

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
